Hi everyone.. .

It's been ages since I've been to Desapetaling.com...

Good to see that its still quite active... at least a few posts a day.. ok lah..

Anyway, I've started off a new outfit. A recruitment Firm/executive search/headhunters... etc...
No.. I don't do foreign workers/construction/manual labor or Maids...  Smiley

We do professional headhunting, we source for suitable candidates with experience & qualifications which match our clients' requirements. This usually revolves around Management staff, Biz Dev, IT, Medical, Consultancy, Supply Chain, Finance, HR, etc..

Im basically running it alone right now, and am looking for a part timer, preferably a college/uni student staying in Desa Petaling, who happens to have quite a bit of free time during the day.

For my expectations, I would say the following:

1.   Speak & Write at least Decent English
2.   Know how to use the PC (haha), more specifically, must be comfortable to use the PC for more than 2 hours.
3.   Have their own Lap Top (sorry, I don’t have much budget to buy right now).
4.   Does not have any psychotic/psychopathic issues. Must be sane, preferably with a full set of limbs, but not necessary.
5.   Willing to learn, and willing to think .
6.   Pleasant approachable personality preferred, but not compulsory. The quiet contributor will also appreciated.
As to the job role, its quite a simple position.
1.   Data entry for our massive database of resumes.
2.   Email response as and when required.
3.   To answer any phone calls to the office. (I don’t think I will require this person to make outbound calls, unless the person wants to).
4.   To act as an usher for candidates who come for interviews at the office.
5.   Most likely will include a few adhoc work as advised by management (me).

Pros to anyone thinking of applying.

Its a small organization, so theres a lot of chance for learning. Not to forget, since we’re in recruitment where we get super exposure into all sorts of industries & work profiles, its a good way to learn about potential jobs that you may consider for your own personal future / career.
Its near where you’re staying (desa petaling), so no need to get stuck in jam/ travel far far/ pay toll/parking...
Its part time (depending on your class hours, to which we would have to establish a schedule before starting work).
Its flexible (if you need to take time out /a day off to go for another interview, go for wedding dinner, go prepare for a date, go walk the dog, just let us know in advance, and we should be fine).
It’ll be great for your resume to say that you were working with a professional Firm during your studies (I know its good because I’m from Recruitment. And when I see a candidate who had the initiative to gain working experience with a Professional Firm during their studies time, I am always more than happy to give this person a plus point or two).

Cons...

I can’t pay your RM1,000,000 p.a. salary... sorry...
Its a small office, don’t expect to party with your expat colleagues every night.
We are quite the work focused kind of people, so we don’t quite spend much on company activities, company outings, company trips, annual dinner.. that sorta thing... maybe in a year or two...
You may need to do some cleaning up at the office (as does the CEO of the company, so there’s no unfair treatment). We got no “kakak” to do cleaning.

Well, thats about it for now.
Location is at Megan Salak Park (same row as Mediviron Clinic).
