DBKL should pay for the access from SEREMBAN to DESA PETALING since they are the one who approved the project in the first place... Wink

we can only wait for the developer to do that...
if they want to launch a new project, if they thinks a new access would better boost the sales of their property project.
But, our area being mostly under Mahajaya, i don't think they would do it.
Just take a look at the government flats that's being built near the Pangsaria, instead of opening access for that flats dwellers to use the other road ( thats between the flats and the school ), they used the existing narrow road that Pangsaria dwellers been using eversince their property were ready.

So, as the same with all the other condominiums in Desa Petaling, we are really having 'parking' problems.
Unless, the one who is going to take up the contructions space beside the shell station , pressure the developer to open extra access from Seremban to Desa Petaling, we can only dream on.... Embarrassed

Agreed that DP really needs an access road.

I have no clue why Mahajaya did not build one previously. Perhaps, due to financial issue or difficulty in obtaining approval from the authority at that time. Now, this is very short-sighted of the developer/authority not to build the access road.

The access road is more than a dream to all DP residents, it is a necessity to all of us who lives here. Wink

There is always an alternative to use the Kampung Malaysia road but we should continue to pursue this dreamhttp://

I can only guessed they thought we could use the sungai besi/ salak south thru the kuchai traffic light junction, and access DP from under the bridge.
But the developer never knew the road was to become a toll collection area, rendering that part of access no more conveniet and free.

Hi all
I'm new here.can I have more details about the route from Kg Malaysia to Desa Petaling

Hmm.... well this is how it goes. I hope you can understand my explanations here. Try my best to give u the most details of the details.

From Seremban direction, keep left. Then you will come to a Shell - Esso petrol station. But please note that you need to turn in to the road, because if you miss this, then you will have to do another U turn in either Kuchai Lama or Taman Desa. Do turn in to the road, and continue on your driving. You will see a Big Furniture Shop. I don't know what is the name, but you people should know that there is a furniture shop there. Do not exit in the right, as this will lead you back to Seremban highway. Continue and drive downwards.

Ok, here is a dangerous section. After driving down, there is the Sg Besi Highway. You will have to drive to the RIGHT SIDE of the road, so that you can get yourself a U turn. It will be dangerous as cars are coming fast behind, while you need to get to the RIGHT SIDE of the road in a short distance. Well when you are use to it, this wont be a problem to you anymore.

So, take the U Turn and then you need to KEEP TO THE LEFT as soon as possible. Because you only have a moderate distance for you to keep to the left. Do not drive so fast, and you will go under a bridge (which is the KL-Seremban Highway), and give signal to turn LEFT. Then take the LEFT Turn to Kampung Malaysia when you see the Sign Board (It is a Concrete Rock Sign Board, build up from the ground, You will notice a bus stop in GREEN Color in the front)

After Turning LEFT, you will be in KAMPUNG MALAYSIA. So continue to drive straight, there will be 2 bumpers. Then you will go to a RIGHT Cornering. After the RIGHT Cornering, TURN LEFT (There will be road side stalls set up by malays)

Go straight. The left side should be a small "forest", while the right side is an Apartment. Here will be easy. Go straight, and then you will reach a place where the road is bumpy without tar covering. It is just unpaved road. Slow down, and be sure to give priority to cars coming down when they are making the turnings. So turn up to the slope on your left, and then maybe you need to step on the accelerator because it is a steep hill climb, with a bumper.

After reaching the top, the you can choose to turn LEFT or RIGHT. LEFT if you want to go to Winner Courts A,B, Winner Heights, or residential area in Amandesa or Sri Lata. Here, becareful of the turning, because the mountain will be blocking 90% of the left side view. You do not know whether there will be a car/motorbike coming until your car is 60% driven out. The lane can only accommodate a car only. So it is advisable to keep right first, then only turn left, then your view will be enlarge and also can give place for the cars coming in to have place to brake and slow down.

For people who want to go to the inner place of Desa Petaling. Exp: the flats, SMK Desa Petaling, you can take the RIGHT TURNING. It won't be a problem to notice car coming from that direction. It will be a back lane drive when you are using that road.

All the best, and i hope that this information will help you guys out there. Tried my best to give the best details and explanation with experienced in it.. Haha

Have a nice day.
